Gary is a retired newspaper man and a semi-retired professional photographer.
He’s a US Navy Veteran and an electronics engineer by training. After his retirement from the WSJ, he founded his photography business “Gray Photography.” Gary has operated his successful photography business from 2007 through today. He claims to be semi-retired from photography due to the fact that he no longer seeks photography clients. He is; however, still an active photographer, working primarily with his stock photography portfolios.
Gary has worked extensively in a broad range of photographic areas as a Wedding Photographer, Event Photographer, Portrait Photographer, Architectural Photographer, Wildlife Photographer, Nature Photographer and Landscape Photographer. His private and business clients have ranged from next door neighbors to the US Government Department of Interior.
Gary has also provided private photography tutoring and training sessions, and hosted photography workshops and private photography tours in Colorado since 2007. Today Gary works as a Colorado based Nature, Wildlife & Landscape photographer for his own enjoyment.
Gary is a writer and a publisher with numerous book, newspaper, print magazine and internet publishing credits. He is also the founder of North American Nature, Wildlife & Landscape Photographers Association, a Facebook photography group.
